Rusty Bindings Members & Friends,
Ski
Season is upon us. We now
have our regular meetings
every Tuesday evening at 8pm at The Greenery Restaurant & Bar in
Walnut Creek. There will be fun and interesting speakers, some with
cool give-aways you won't want to miss. Many of us gather about 7pm
for dinner, drinks, and mingling beforehand.
Everyone is cordially invited to
these social meetings, where you pick up the latest info on the club
and people happenings. Its a great time to introduce friends to the
club - if they haven't met their "summer love", they'll be even more
interested in coming around to our great singles ski club.

Rusty
Bindings Ski Club is based in Walnut Creek, California and holds general meetings on
Tuesday evenings at 8pm at the
Greenery Restaurant. The summertime meeting schedule includes
BBQ Meetings every other Tuesday at
Pleasant Hill Park in Pleasant Hill. Club meetings are offered as social gatherings created for
potential and existing members to drop in and mingle, to meet new members, to find out
about new events and to make reservations for upcoming trips.

The
important stuff...

You don't need to
race to become a member of Rusty Bindings.
You don't even need to ski.! We do lots of other
things like bicycling, camping, softball, and purely
social
functions such as parties,
BBQs,
TGIF, etc.
-
We are part of the Singles League, and
are based in Walnut Creek, California (the 'East Bay'). If you are married or
looking for a club in a different location, try the
Bay Area Council of Skiers
Rusty Bindings is one of seven San Francisco Bay Area Singles
League ski clubs affiliated with the
Bay
Area Council of Skiers and the Far West Ski Association open to singles over 21 years
of age. We offer an active winter ski schedule for recreational skiers, downhill racers
and snowboarders as well as a year-round social program with a variety of activities including bicycling, volleyball,
rollerblading, waterskiing, sailing, scuba diving, camping, fishing, rafting, softball,
tennis, golf, dancing, wine tasting, concerts, picnics and many other activities organized
by members.
Rusty Bindings' renowned ski race team was
the Singles' League Race Champions in
1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000,
2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007,
2008 and
yes... 2009.
The team has an excellent program with ski and race clinics, orientation for new
skiers, discounted accommodations and lift tickets, awards, gifts and an opportunity to ski
and race with others of the same skiing ability.
Our
members range from 30 to 60+ with equal
numbers of men and women. Many of our members are not skiers but
joined the club to participate in our year-round activities with other
active singles.
